INTERVENTIONS in a major new summer exhibition in Copenhagen / by Martin Toft

In 1999 I decided to walk to war. INTERVENTIONS - is a performance of a man walking alone through Europe to Kosovo and the installation of photography, video and found objects will be included in a major summer exhibition Gadefotografi 1917 - 2017 – en hyldest til hverdagen (Street Photography – A Tribute to Everyday Life) at Øksnehallen in Copenhagen featuring over 80 international artists representing 100 years. It was last exhibited at Platformen, Museet for Fotokunst in Odense, Denmark in 2000.

The exhibition officially opens on Tue 27 June in the evening and it would be good to see 'old' friends from back home. There is also an exciting programme of talks and other events during the opening first week, and I will be doing a special presentation of our ongoing project, MASTERPLAN - A Visual Record of Finance on Wed 28 June and later in the evening will be in conversation with Jens Olof Lasthein about our work on show.
